Island Girl is all about that, and in an effort to further push our philosophy of green fashion and promote the belief that natural is beautiful, we have partnered with Go Lokal!, a nationwide initiative of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) that provides local manufacturers the opportunity to bring their products to the commercial and mainstream mall market.
Inspired by round bags seen on runways and spotted being slung across the shoulders of social media's most popular set, we worked with local weaving communities in Cebu and its neighboring provinces to create our version of the latest bag every girl wants in her closet.
Cebu is a burgeoning mecca of creativity and culture. One of the contributing factors to this community is our craftsmen who make beautiful things by hand.
