After 15 years, we have progressed into a more mature brand. We feel the need to represent this growth with an image that illustrates who we are and what we do now, and where we see ourselves in the future. We want to reestablish the values that we intend to put more emphasis on. We certainly have pride in the products we create - which are quintessentially Filipino in design, made by Filipinos, using natural materials found in our own homeland, The Philippines. From the time we first launched our brand on the shores of Boracay back in 2005, to the present - we have definitely evolved in the way we design our products, materials used, to beginning with 5 rural artisan communities to now working with 15 communities all across Cebu; to two stores in Boracay, one in Palawan, and our main HQ in Cebu City, to 18 stockists now all over the Philippines.
In the midst of all this chaos, we somehow we're able to realize that reassessing what was most important to us as a company and as a brand, became our primary objective. We came to the conclusion that maybe, channeling our creative energy into something good can inspire and uplift this fear uncertainty we are all feeling. After all, a shift in energy and perspective can be a good thing for us all.
